More importantly, it skirted any potential conflict between the “Smoke Two Joints” trio and the Federal Aviation Administration, an agency traditionally uncharitable to the interstate transport of illicit substances. A road trip allowed them to gig all along the 1,383-mile stretch from Long Beach to Austin. In Sublime’s defense, it seemed like an act of shrewd lunacy. If you're set on a tinted sunscreen, they make an excellent SPF 30 tinted moisturizer that has not caused my skin to react.1. I like to have a good balance of titanium dioxide/zinc oxide in my sunscreens, so sometimes I'll top it off with a dusting of SPF foundation from 100% Pure, another fantastic (but pricey) brand. It also uses aloe vera gel as a carrier, so it's very light my face doesn't look like an oil slick when I put it on. It uses non-nano zinc oxide as its active ingredient, which made me worry I'd have that horrible whitish cast over my whole face (non-nano particles are bigger so they don't blend into the skin as well as micronized particles) - but they must grind it smaller than most non-nano sunscreens, because I've found that if I rub it in well (usually with a little water to avoid tugging on my skin) you can ALMOST not tell I'm wearing it at all. I have the same problem (ridiculously oversensitive skin, intolerance to many common ingredients, burning feeling when I apply just about anything that isn't pure water), and so far, the ONLY sunscreen that has worked for me is Devita's solar protective moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. (Note: my face was still pretty white on my face, and I'm not that tan?) I tried to test it again, but on my chest, and that patch is still red and itchy 2 days later.īasically, I've been bad and not wearing sunscreen, since I'm afraid of further aggravating my skin since it still stings a little when I wash my face. Granted, I shouldn't have put it on so much of my face when I was first testing it out, but I wanted to see if the tint matched my skin tone. It burned and stung my skin and I developed contact dermatitis on more than half my face. ![]() Had all physical sunscreen blockers! "Lightly tinted" so it could be a tinted moisturizer of sorts!! I was really hoping it would work out because it seemed so promising. I know there have been a lot of great sunscreen recommendation threads, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend sunscreens that wouldn't irritate my ridiculously sensitive skin.ĮltaMD usually has a great reputation on SCA, so I tried EltaMD UV Physical last week, after experimenting with chemical/physical mixes were irritating my skin.
